What is Structured Cabling?

A structured cabling system is a telecommunications and data cabling infrastructure that serves as a highway to transport voice and data messages throughout your business and with the rest of the world.

Backbone Cabling: the cabling that carries signals between the entrance facilities, equipment rooms, and telecom rooms.
Horizontal Cabling: the wiring from the telecom rooms to the individual outlets in workspaces.
Work Area Components: the outlets and equipment that serve the end-user.
