What is a geo-fence? It is a virtual boundary set up around a geographical location. For example, you could define a 2-mile radius around your home as your geo-fence. When you enter or exit the defined area, pre-programmed actions are triggered.

No additional hardware or equipment is required, and there is no additional cost for geo-services with our home automation systems. Geo-enabled features include:

• Arming Reminders - location-based arming reminders let you know if you leave the house and forget to arm your security system.
• Thermostat Automation - Your thermostat can automatically turn up or down when you enter or exit a specified geo-fence.
• Video Recording - Your video surveillance system can use geo-services to automatically pause video recording when are at home, then automatically resume when you leave.
